The fight of the nuns in the monastery of the Catholic Order of Clariss-Kaputzinov in southern Italy led to the dissolution of the entire establishment.

The local archbishop Giovanni Battista Pichierry had to intervene between the nuns, who first tried to reconcile three women, but then was forced to contact the Vatican for permission to close the monastery, the BBC Russian service reports.

The Order of Clariss-Kaputsinov was founded in the XIII century Clara Assisian, a follower of Francis of Assisian, and is considered one of the most ascetic in the Catholic Church . The nuns included in it spend life in prayer, repentance and wordless contemplation.

But in the monastery of Santa Clara in the Italian province of Bari, the vow of silence was broken by a terrible squabble.

The sisters of Annamaria and Dzhanbattist claim that the disgusting habits of the abbess, the sisters of Liliana began to distract them from the performance of monastic duties. And by the summer they were so angry that they attacked the abbess, scratched her face and plunged her to the ground.

As a result of the fight, two nuns were transferred to a neighboring monastery, and Lilian's sister was barricaded in her fortress with the intention of in no case to leave the walls, beyond which in the last 44 years she had never left. The abbess had already written a letter to the Roman dad in which she stated: she will only leave the monastery when God decides that she should be.
