At the last meeting, representatives of the prosecutor's office completed the presentation of evidence of Pichushkin’s guilt, after which the defendant expressed a desire to testify.

Pichushkin told the jury that he committed the first murder in 1992, ITAR-TASS reports. His victim was a fellow student Mikhail Odiychuk. Nine years later, according to the defendant, he committed the second murder.

Pichushkin committed his killings from 1992 to 2006. Most people were killed by the maniac’s hands from 2005 to 2006 in the Bitsevsky Park. At the end of June 2006, Alexander Pichushkin was arrested.

“I actually committed 61 murders. 60 - all on the territory of the Bittsev forest park. The first committed in 1992, 14 years ago. It was my classmate, we studied at the same school.
