
The French grocery house Hediard was bought by Luxadvor, controlled by the Russian entrepreneur, Senator from Tuva Sergey Pugachev, one of the most influential Russian bankers from the initial accumulation of capital.
The transaction was reported on Thursday by the French newspaper Echos, however, the amount that Pugachev paid to the former owner of the Bachelor’s house from Monacoel Pastor (Michel Pastor) was not called is not called. Later, the information was officially confirmed by the French company.
Pugachev is attributed control over the "United Industrial Corporation" (OPC) and interpromombank, RIA Novosti notes. His fortune is estimated at $ 2.1 billion.
Hediard Grace House was opened in 1854 in Paris on Madeleine Square. Then it was a shop of spices and colonial goods. Now Hediard is a large company that owns 400 gastronomic boutiques in 30 countries, including in Russia.
