The presidents of Russia, Iran, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan have already signed a joint political declaration consisting of 25 points, speaking in support of the right of any country to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes. Tehran said he intends to master the full cycle of nuclear energy and, for this purpose, began to enrich Uranus. The general contractor of construction and installation works of the first power unit of the nuclear power plant was the Russian Joint -Stock Company Atomstroyxport. In February 1998, Russia and Iran agreed that the Russian Federation will not only help in the construction of nuclear power plants, but will fully complete the construction of the station.

Construction was supposed to be completed on July 8, 1999, but the deadlines for commissioning Busher NPP were postponed several times.

Late on Sunday evening, the American Analytical Center Stratfor (specializes in the provision of analytical services to large firms and organizations) said that information about the preparation of attempt on Russian President Vladimir Putin in Iran could transfer to Russia the US intelligence services. “They would undoubtedly be ready to convey to Putin everything that was only possible and what could keep him from a trip to Tehran, since the Bush administration really would not want Putin to make a visit to Iran,” the Stratfor analytical note says.
