
Ten amateur spokeologists were hospitalized after an attempt to conduct a disco in the abandoned quarries near Moscow on the banks of the Pakhra River. According to RIA Novosti, this was announced by a representative of the Central Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergencies. According to Interfax, 4 people were hospitalized.
"On the eve of the evening, rescuers received information that several dozen young people went down to the quarry in the area of the village of Yam in the Domodedovo district to conduct a disco. The speleologists took a benzo generator with them, which was faulty and caught fire," the agency’s interlocutor said.
According to him, the smoke quickly spread, I had to call rescuers who went down to the quarry and began to evacuate the victims. According to the data at 09.30 Sundays, more than 70 people were bred from the ground. “According to them, there is no one else left in the abandoned quarries,” the agency’s interlocutor said. “However, rescuers now continue to examine the cave in order to make sure that all people are saved.”
According to him, 10 people were hospitalized with smoke poisoning, six of them are soon planned to be written out.
According to rescuers, the Kamenolno caves on the banks of the Pakhra River reach a length of 30 kilometers, their depth is up to 40 meters. The disco was carried out at a depth of about 30 meters.
