The leader of the movement against illegal immigration Alexander Belov (Potkin) was detained on Monday in Moscow. According to the DPNI website, he was taken to the Chertanovsky court.

“At present, I have been detained, as I understand it, by the decision of the justice of the peace,” Potkin said. “Now I am being taken to the Chertanovsky court, allegedly in the case, initiated under the article -“ petty hooliganism ”.

The court session should take place on Monday evening. To the building where the court will pass, the police are pulled together.

DPNI activists suggest that their leader detained to prevent him from participating in the “Russian march”, which is scheduled for November 4.

The organizers of the "Russian march - 2007" have not yet decided on the venue of the event. However, it is known that 18 applications with different routes options will be submitted to the Moscow City Hall to conduct a march.

The Russian March has been held in Moscow and a number of cities of Russia twice already: on November 4, 2006.
