Creditors will receive 76 billion rubles less from Yukos
YUKOS transferred its last funds to creditors last Friday . But it was not possible to pay off all the debts: as stated in the message of the bankruptcy trustee Eduard Rebgun, 76 billion rubles. The company’s “registration” requirements (that is, those submitted after the bankruptcy procedure was introduced) were not enough. As the bankruptcy trustee's press secretary, Nikolai Lashkevich, explained to Interfax, the claims of the state, several former Yukos subsidiaries, which now belong to Rosneft, and other creditors have not been fully satisfied. But by and large, bankruptcy can already be considered completed. At the same time, Mr. Rebgun managed to ensure that nothing remained in the bankruptcy estate (although a year ago the book value of the company’s assets exceeded the claims of creditors), because otherwise the organizers of the YUKOS case would have been shown that they had bankrupted a wealthy company.
The statistics of this bankruptcy, announced last Friday, are as follows. The total amount of the bankruptcy estate aimed at repaying creditors' claims amounted to 872 billion rubles. The federal budget received 579 billion rubles from them. (in addition, the state received 416 billion in current and other tax revenues from funds not intended for payments to creditors). As part of the bankruptcy proceedings, the claims of all creditors included in the register were fully satisfied, including debts to the Federal Tax Service, Rosneft, Deutsche Bank AG, Bank Societe Generale Vostok, Mazeikiu Nafta and others. In addition to the claims included in the register, YUKOS had a debt to “registered” creditors of 239 billion rubles. They transferred 163 billion rubles. proportional to the amount of debt.
The main buyer of YUKOS assets, state-owned Rosneft, thanks to bankruptcy, became the largest oil company in Russia in terms of production.
