The Tbilisi City Court granted the petition of the General Prosecutor's Office of Georgia and elected another preliminary conclusion to the former Minister of Defense of Georgia Irakli Okabashvili, the News-Georgia agency reports.
Previously, the district district was divided into two parts. In terms of money laundering and abuse of official powers on November 14, the court in absentia changed the measure of restraint by the release of exemption on bail for preliminary conclusion.
In this part of the prosecution, the investigation has already been completed. At the process of November 16, the preliminary conclusion was elected in the second part of the case - official negligence and bribery, the consequence of which continues.
“Our legislation does not provide for a person’s arrest twice. This is a completely incompetent and inadequate decision that has a tendentious character. Whatever the prosecutor’s petition is in, the court satisfies everything,” said Ecaashvili Ecaashvili, lawyer.
Irakli Distribvili is accused under the four articles of the Criminal Code of Georgia-338th-bribery carried out by an organized group with extortion, the 194th part of the third is the laundering of money, the 332nd part of the third-the abuse of official powers and the 342nd part of the first-official negligence.
At this time, Irakli Okayashvili was put on the wanted list after failure to appear in the prosecutor's office to testify. Okaashvili, after the release of 10 million, Lari ($ 6.5 million) for cooperation with the investigation with the permission of the Prosecutor General’s Office went to treatment in Munich.
