The European Transport and Environmental Protection Federation recognized German -made cars with the most "dirty" of all cars manufactured in Europe. This was reported by Autonews.ru . Indeed, in recent years, the level of CO2 release in German cars has grown significantly. The President of the European Federation said that German automobile concerns simply need to establish the production of more environmentally friendly machines, and added that to obstacle the climate change, it is not enough to produce two environmentally friendly cars a year.
According to the Federation, the first place in the ranking of manufacturers producing the most “dirty” cars is occupied by the Daimler concern: the release of CO2 from its cars produced over the past year increased by 2.5%. In second place in the ranking is Volkswagen, and the third position belongs to BMW. Despite the fact that the CO2 emission of this brand has decreased over the past two years, it still remains very high.
