At the beginning of the week, almost the entire European territory will be occupied by an extensive two-center cyclone. A frontal wave will flow into its system from the southwest, its top will be above the center of Russia. Almost everywhere it will be cloudy, with precipitation, gusty winds, but warm, as winds will blow mainly from the south. The anticyclone will only reach the extreme east and southeast of the territory. In the northwestern regions, snow, sleet, wind gusts of up to 15 m/s are expected, daytime temperatures are -3...+2оС. In the central region there is occasional precipitation, sometimes heavy, in some areas there is fog, accumulation of wet snow, drifts and snowfall, during the day -1...+4oC, in some places up to -3oC. On Tuesday there will be snow in the north-western region, gusty winds will raise a blizzard, in the afternoon 0...-5оС. In the center of Russia and the Central Black Earth region there will be precipitation, heavy in places, snow drifts, accumulation of wet snow, wind up to 15 m/s are possible on the roads, mostly around 0°C during the day.

In the capital, precipitation (rain, snow), at night 0...-2оС, during the day +1...+3оС, in the region -1...+4оС, south wind, 5--10 m/s; gusts of 12--14 m/s in places.

In St. Petersburg there is light precipitation in the form of sleet and ice in places. The temperature during the day is about 0°C. There is heavy ice on the roads.

Most of European Russia experiences windy and damp weather with changes in atmospheric pressure and temperature. Such weather can cause deterioration in health in people with chronic diseases of the bronchi and lungs. In such weather it is easy to catch a cold or acute respiratory infection. Therefore, you should dress warmly. A noticeable drop in atmospheric pressure can cause illness in weather-sensitive people.
