The United States is ready to cooperate with the Ukrainian government Yulia Tymoshenko, RIA Novosti said on Tuesday at the American embassy in Kiev. "The US will cooperate with Ukraine at the same level as before," the embassy said.

At a meeting of the Ukrainian Parliament on Tuesday, 226 deputies voted for the candidacy of Yulia Tymoshenko - exactly as much as necessary to make a decision.

This is the second time, when Tymoshenko heads the government - she held the position of prime minister in February -September 2005. Before her, the head of the Ukrainian cabinet was only the leader of the Party of Regions Viktor Yanukovych.
