Ex-Senator from Bashkiria Igor Izmestiev, accused of organizing five murders and giving bribes, on Thursday was questioned in the Moscow City Court on the process against nine members of the so-called Kingisepp group, which is judged for the fulfillment of these murders. Izmestyev, who had previously refused to testify, first spoke, having spoke, in particular, about his relations with the leader of the Kingisepp group Sergei Finagin. According to the former member of the Federation Council, Finagin called him the customer of several murders under the pressure of the investigation, Kommersant writes.
As the publication recalls, the court in the case of the Kingisepp criminal group, the beginning of which was laid by the mysterious death of the car that drove into the capital with the explosives of the former submariner Alexander Puman, has been going on for the second year. On the bench of the defendants are one of the organizers of the Imran Ilyasov group, Alexey Zazdravnov, Igor of the Golden, Albert Frolin, Eduard Zaitsev, Oleg Bartenev, Valentin Lapichev, Alexander Sukharev and Andrei Abramov. They are accused of numerous murders, including the Bashkir oil industry.
Izmestiev was brought to the Lefortovo pre -trial detention center at the defense. The lawyers of the defendants were interested in that Izmestev knew about the murders in 1994 of the director of the Novo -Ufim refinery Salavat Gaynanov, in 2001 - the former chief accountant of the Bashkir Neftekhimic company Valery Speransky and in the same year of the Moscow notary Galina Perepelkina, the execution of which, in particular,, in particular, is charged "Kingisepp", and their organization the investigation charges the ex-Senator Izmestiev. Recall that the investigation in his case was extended until April 2008.
“When Gainanov was killed,” the ex-senator said, “I was 26 years old, by that time I was at the factory (Novo-Ufa Oil Refinery), I was only a year and a half, I was the deputy head of the department. The investigation claims that I was beneficial for his murder, since I was applying for his position. But I would never have been appointed to Gaynanov’s place, even if I graduated from not an oil university, but an aircraft. In the same way, the oil industry in the republic was supervised by its President Murtazi Rakhimov, and the appointment was required to coordinate with him, without seeing the prospects for the factory, then I decided to leave for the sale of oil products, the founders of which were the four oil refineries with Gainanov. To Moscow, and I had to come up with a version that in the capital the bride is waiting for me to marry. "
Valery of Speransky Ovexes also denied his involvement in the murder of the chief accountant of Bashneftekhim: “I had even business relations with him, and I still can’t understand who removed him, because he was a man’s man, not a step without the permission of the Urals Rakhimov (the son of the head of the Republic of Murtase Rakhimov), was his right hand.”
The most outraged was expressed by the ex -Senator by the fact that he was charged with the murder of the capital's notary Galina Perepelkina - the wife of his former business partner Yuri Bushev, a retired officer of the Navy, an employee of Ronex Oleg Bulatova. According to Izmestiev, he was not even familiar with Perepelkina.
"Investigators say that it was beneficial for me that this murder in connection with the fact that Mr. Speransky allegedly handed over to Msopelkina some compromising documents for me. But this is what a detail: all her extensive inheritance did not go to her sister and niece, but her former roommate, who now claims that this crime was beneficial to him, and the investigation believes in him."
The lawyer Izmestiev Sergey Kuzuin asked him “for the protocol” whether he was familiar with the leader of the Kingisepp group Sergei Finagin, arrested last year (his case has not yet been transferred to court).
“A sign,” Izmestiev answered, “he was a guard in my office. Then he disappeared for three years, and returning, he began to bring fish and caviar to the office. I have nothing to do with his criminal actions.”
The interrogation of Igor Izmestiev took only an hour, after which he was taken to a pre -trial detention center.
Izmestyev was detained on January 16 at Bishkek Airport as a result of a special operation of the FSB of Russia and then delivered through Novosibirsk to Moscow, where he was placed in a pre -trial detention center. On January 18, the court authorized his arrest.
In the past, the general director of Korus -Holding, Izmestev was elected a member of the Federation Council, a representative of the Bashkiria State Assembly, his powers should have expired in March 2007. However, in November 2006, the deputies of the State Assembly of Bashkiria appealed to the Federation Council with a request for early termination of his powers "in connection with the combination of the duties of a representative of Bashkiria with commercial activities", and on December 12 the powers of the senator were terminated ahead of schedule .
On December 21, the Basmanny District Court will consider the complaint of his lawyers about the investigation to refuse to institute criminal proceedings "on the abduction of Igor Izmestiev by special services from Kyrgyzstan on January 16, 2007 and forced transfer to Moscow, where he was placed in the Lefortovo pre -trial detention center."
Meanwhile, next week, the jury is expected in the case of nine members of the Kingisepp group, at the hearing on which the ex-senator acted as a witness.
