Timur Bekmambetov, having made "The Irony of Fate. Continuation”, crossed a cozy “scoop” with our harsh, but bringing Toyota Camry time as a prize. A remake of the popularly loved and as natural as a Christmas tree, The Irony of Fate, created using the artistic (?) tools of the Night Watch, produced an absolutely fantastic effect: a plastic story that does not touch either the mind or the heart, using old actors, losing warmth as a result of the operation of seemingly familiar images, gives the impression of an outright fake. Because the main characters of the picture are not the Muscovite doctor Zhenya and the teacher Nadia from Leningrad, the best of the best, typical of typical Soviet people, but Toyota Camry. What did we want? The filmmakers realized (or imposed on us?) a dream: to live in the same comfort as in the "scoop", but only with a chic car and a fashionable gadget in your ear. Such is the style of the era, the secret aspirations of the Putin majority...
