Microsoft Corporation will release the first update package (SP1) for Windows Vista February 27, 2008, PC Advisor reports.

Microsoft reported that SP1 for VISTA will contain only all the updates and several corrections in the system, new functions will not be added.

For example, it is expected that Windows Vista will add support for the Exfat file system (Extended File Allocation Table) - this will improve interaction with portable devices.
