Nine children were poisoned at the Tomsk boarding school

Mass poisoning occurred in the Tomsk boarding school number 15. As an employee of the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies of the Russian Federation in the Tomsk region said on Thursday, with a diagnosis of poisoning, nine pupils of a boarding school were hospitalized.

"At the boarding school number 15, a group case of the disease with the same type of symptoms is registered - vomiting, fever, abdominal pain. Four children were hospitalized the day before. Five teenagers at the age of 15-16 were hospitalized during the night," he said.

According to the representative of the press service, a preliminary diagnosis is poisoning with food products, RIA Novosti reports.

"There is no information about the exact cause of the disease yet. Doctors evaluate the condition of children as satisfactory," said the representative of the Ministry of Emergencies.
