
In Moscow, an unknown young man was stabbed a knife wound to the priest of the Orthodox Church of St. Mitrofan Voronezh on Khutorskaya. As Interfax reports with reference to a source in law enforcement agencies, this happened when the priest returned home after the evening service. At the time of the incident, he was in civilian clothes.
At about 20:30 near the temple, on Yunnatov Street, an unknown young man attacked him, he was dressed in a black jacket and blue jeans. The young man for no reason inflicted a knife wound to the priest in the neck, after which he disappeared from the scene.
The wound turned out to be superficial and does not pose a threat to the life of a priest. He is assisted by ambulance doctors.
Later the name of the priest became clear. This is Father Anatoly (Nagorny). In addition to services, he is engaged in scientific activity and is a professor of Bauman MSTU. According to the ministers of the temple, Father Anatoly is always late late in the temple.
