The owner of the Arbat Prestige company Vladimir Nekrasov is invited to sell his business in exchange for freedom. According to Interfax, the lawyer of Nekrasov Alexander Dobrovinsky said on Monday.
“Last week I had a proposal to sell the company,” said Dobrovinsky, clarifying that the proposal was addressed to Nekrasov. The lawyer refused to name the persons who made an offer. About his words, it was proposed to sell the business "in exchange for the termination of the criminal case."
Answering the question whether Nekrasov is considering such an opportunity, Dobrovinsky said: "No, does not consider." He did not exclude the filing of a complaint to the European Court of Human Rights in connection with arrest, but noted that the defense intends to go through all the courts in Russia.
Earlier on Monday, the Moscow City Court left Nekrasov in custody, rejecting the complaint of the defense, which asked him to let him go on bail. On January 30, he was charged with tax evasion. The same accusation was brought by Sergey Schneider (aka Semyon Mogilevich). “We consider the accusations absurd,” the lawyer said. “What Nekrasov is accused of, it is not clear to him.”
He noted that Nekrasov was familiar with Sergey Schneider through his ex -wife Olga. “This is a mysterious figure (Olga Schneider),” said Dobrovinsky, adding that her whereabouts are still unknown. According to the lawyer, only two - Nekrasov and Schneider are currently going on as part of the case.
