Medvedev proposed creating a 24 -hour agrarian television channel

In Russia, it is necessary to create a round-the-clock agricultural television channel, says First Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. According to RIA Novosti, he expressed such an idea at a meeting with agricultural veterans in Barnaul.

Medvedev agreed with the veterans that the Russian media should pay more attention to agriculture. “The media now has almost no time on agriculture, and the corresponding programs are coming out at best once every two weeks,” he admitted.

"In this regard, one idea arose - to create an agricultural channel that will broadcast around the clock, there are technical capabilities for this," said the first deputy prime minister. In his opinion, on this channel there could be reports on what "what is happening in agriculture, what problems are, what achievements."

“It would be useful to tell, for example, about how to build a house in the village,” Medvedev added.
