The police in Yerevan dispersed hundreds of manifestants who held an unlimited and unauthorized rally in the center of the capital of Armenia.
According to the correspondent of the Armenian service of our radio station, the police detained the former presidential candidate from the opposition Levon Ter-Petrosyan and, in all likelihood, carried him home.
It is reported that in clashes with the police some protesters were injured.
According to ITAR-TASS, the rally was organized by opposition forces that did not recognize the official results of the presidential election on February 19, at which Prime Minister Serge Sargsyan won.
