The former absolute world of heavyweight world Evander Holifield leaves no hope for the fifth time to win the championship belt and intends to meet with the winner of IBF and WBO titles in this weight by Ukrainian Vladimir Klitschko.

“If George Forman was able to win the championship title of 45, then I can also. I expect that after a couple of worthy fights I can get a fight against Klitschko. I will go to the ring in June and I am not going to stop there,” Holifield said in Glasgow, where he arrived for the presentation of his autobiographical book. “I was a believer, and this is what helped me make me make it possible The career in the box, when I can’t achieve anything, I pray that I can refute their words.
Recall that last year the Holifield team had already negotiated with representatives of Vladimir Klitschko, however, the conditions proposed by the WBO champion in heavyweight Sultan Ibragimov were more profitable, and Holifield met with the Russian boxer in October last year in Moscow, losing by a unanimous decision of the judges. And in February of this year, Klitschko defeated Ibragimov in the unification match also a unanimous decision of the judges and took away the championship title from him.
