But still: Dmitry Medvedev, although he is now elected, according to the decree of V.V. Putin, the president, and now he has security, like a big one - the FSO, but according to the staff list, to this day he is listed as the first deputy prime minister of the government. And it seems that Prime Minister Zubkov has not fired him yet, and Dmitry Anatolyevich himself has not written a letter of resignation. Combines? But part-time work in two different institutions of power is not allowed by our Constitution: the institution of the presidency is separate, the executive power is also separate. And in Putin's decree "On the status of the newly elected and not inaugurated president" it only says that Medvedev is entitled to state protection and an official residence. But that he no longer needs to come to his former place in the government - not a word. So Prime Minister Zubkov can go ahead and fire Medvedev, who does not appear in the White House. In any case, Article 81 of the Labor Code allows him to do this: “Absence from the workplace without good reason during the entire working day (shift), regardless of its (her) duration, as well as in case of absence from the workplace without good reason for more than four consecutive hours during the working day (shift). Whether meetings on fisheries issues are a valid reason is up to Zubkov to decide.
