"Green Zone" in Baghdad fired at least four times in a day: several people were injured

The "green zone" in Baghdad - the outpost of the Iraqi authorities and the forces of the coalition in Iraq - was subjected to mortar and missile shelling at least four times during Sunday. This was announced by a representative of the Iraqi security forces.

The militants did not achieve the main goals - embassies of the United States and Great Britain, but the panic feelings among the inhabitants of this Baghdad region, where there are Iraqi and foreign representative offices, including the diplomatic mission of the initiators of the invasion of Iraq, achieved.

Everyone in the "Green Zone" felt uncomfortable, and they had to hide in the shelters when Siren announced the upcoming danger. There were no dead, but nevertheless, four people were injured, ITAR-TASS reports.
