"Golden Fleece". One of the main and most large-scale projects of the Tretyakov Gallery in the current exhibition season is dedicated to the artistic activities of the magazine “Golden Fleece” and dedicated to the centenary of the exhibition “Salon of the Golden Fleece”, held in April 1908 in Moscow. During the Soviet years, the magazine was branded as “bourgeois” and “decadent.” This exhibition is the first acquaintance of a wide audience with this striking phenomenon in the history of Russian artistic culture of the early twentieth century. "Pavel Muratov is a man of the Silver Age." The exhibition is dedicated to the memory of P.P. Muratov is the author of the famous “Images of Italy” (the first deep interpretation of Italian art in Russian), an outstanding art historian of the early twentieth century. The exhibition presents documentary materials, publications, books by Pavel Muratov, photographs of his family, as well as works of the Italian school, the attribution of which he was involved in at the Rumyantsev Museum, icons from the collection of I.S. "Red Army Studio".
