The commandant hour is announced from 23:00 p.m. to 5:00 in the morning of Baghdad.

According to him, such measures were taken by the authorities after armed clashes between the Shiite militants and the Iraqi security forces and the army. They pursue the goal of protecting the civilian population, Al-Musaui noted.

Earlier, reports came that the American died, who, along with others, was injured during shelling of the so -called green zone in Baghdad. The green zone is a specially protected area of the city in which government institutions, embassies and the American command are located.

According to the representative of the US State Department, Sean McCormak, "as a result of the shelling of the green zone on Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday, five US citizens received, according to the initial data, the person who died, served in the US Army under the contract."

In turn, the FBI today reported the discovery of three American hostages in Iraq. Two dead have already been identified: these are the employees of the private security company Paul Johnson Ruben and Joshua Mannes, which were stolen in Kuwait. Earlier this week, the remains of two more Americans - John Roy Yang, who worked for the same company, and stolen in January 2007, an employee of another company Ronald Whitrow, were discovered and identified.

At the same time, the US State Department forbade American diplomats in Iraq to leave the embassy. This is stated in the circular, who was at the disposal of journalists.

Diplomats are prescribed to use body armor and other protective equipment if they are outside the premises. In addition, they are recommended to spend the night in well -fortified rooms.
