“The problem is that the Norwegians and I catch according to different rules,” he explained. 30 years ago, the countries agreed that in the Russian economy zone, fishermen catch fish according to Russian rules, and in the Norwegian - according to the Norwegian. In 1977, by decree of Queen Norway, the so-called 200-mile fish protection zone around the island of Spitsbergen was declared, although the Norwegian side did not have the right to do so.
