"Harlequin, servant of two masters." A legendary performance by the late genius Giorgio Strehler based on the play by Carlo Galdoni. EXHIBITIONS
"Golden Fleece". One of the main and most large-scale projects of the Tretyakov Gallery in the current exhibition season is dedicated to the artistic activities of the magazine “Golden Fleece” and dedicated to the centenary of the exhibition “Salon of the Golden Fleece”, held in April 1908 in Moscow. This project represents the magazine as the leading art publication of its time, the organizer of famous exhibitions of Russian and French art, in which P. Kuznetsov, M. Larionov, M. Saryan, K. Somov, P. Utkin, V. Van Gogh, P. Gauguin, P. Cezanne, A. Matisse. During the Soviet years, the magazine was branded as “bourgeois” and “decadent.” This exhibition is the first acquaintance of a wide audience with this striking phenomenon in the history of Russian artistic culture of the early twentieth century. "Pavel Muratov is a man of the Silver Age." The exhibition is dedicated to the memory of P.P. Muratov is the author of the famous “Images of Italy” (the first deep interpretation of Italian art in Russian), an outstanding art historian of the early twentieth century. The exhibition presents documentary materials, publications, books by Pavel Muratov, photographs of his family, as well as works of the Italian school, the attribution of which he was involved in at the Rumyantsev Museum, icons from the collection of I.S. Ostroukhov, several etchings by Piranesi recreating the image of Rome, paintings by Cezanne, large watercolors by Borisov-Musatov, works by Nesterov and Konchalovsky, graphics by N.P. Ulyanov - Muratov's great friend and companion in his Italian travels of 1907 and 1912. The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts , until April 20.
"Red Army Studio". The exhibition combines textbook and iconic paintings by Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin, Konstantin Yuon, Alexander Deineka, Pavel Korin, Mitrofan Grekov, Alexander Laktionov, Viktor Popkov, Geliy Korzhev with little-known works by Soviet artists. A significant amount of the exhibition is devoted to half-forgotten representatives of socialist realism of the 1930s - Pyotr Shukhmin, Ekaterina Zernova, Serafima Ryangina and others. Cultural Foundation "Ekaterina" , until March 31.
Graphics by Toulouse-Lautrec. The exhibition includes theater posters, posters for publications (“Queen of Joy,” 1892), illustrations for books (“Weary Eros,” 1898), and songs from the repertoire of Lautrec’s friends (“Your Mouth,” 1893). You will be able to see such works as “Invitation to a Cup of Milk” (1897), “Country Walk” (1897), “Avtomobilist” (1898), “Jockey” (1899), “Dog and Parrot” (1899), as well as variations of the work on the composition “Loy Fuller” (1893).
