The leadership of Rusal decided to suspend work at all five mines of Sevuralboxisturus OJSC. The representative of Rusala said that the suspension of work will not affect the overall production activities of OK "Rusal", which has a significant raw material base.

OK "Rusal" retains a tough position in relation to the striking. Interfax reported that a two -year collective agreement is fully implemented. In particular, the average salary of the miner is 28.84 thousand rubles, in 2007 it was increased by 14.5%.

This is not the first strike on Suber. In 2003, more than 500 employees of the enterprise from October 1, 2003 were in the mines for 6 days and refused to rise to the surface, putting forward a request to increase wages to 1 thousand dollars and the simultaneous decrease in production standards.
