A serial recidivist killer was arrested in Samara: 8 victims

In Samara, the police arrested the murder of eight people. The criminal carefully kept the things of the victims in one of his apartments.

The detained unemployed resident of Samara, 34-year-old Sergei Kuznetsov, was charged, ITAR-TASS reports with reference to the Investigative Committee at the prosecutor's office (SCP) of the Russian Federation.

According to the investigation, all murders were committed in 2005-2007, but the prosecutor’s office does not exclude that Kuznetsov is involved in other crimes. In addition, he could have accomplices.

Until the last moment, the investigators did not know that they were dealing with a serial killer. It was possible to go out on his trace after in December 2007 in Samara, a certain Noreshkin went missing, who "got into an unidentified car and left in an unknown direction."

In connection with the disappearance of a man, the Kuibyshev inter -district department of the UK has opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (killing two or more persons).

"During the competently planned investigative actions and operational -search measures, a suspect was established," the UKP explained. It turned out to be Sergey Kuznetsov, who in 1992 was already prosecuted for the assassination attempted murder.

During the search in one of the apartments of Kuznetsov, located in the village of Kupino, the Bezenchuksky district of the Samara region, documents of missing people were discovered. Pension certificates, passports, passes, credit cards, values ​​and even clothes were stored there.

During the further investigation, the involvement of another 7 residents of Samara was established in the murders. At the same time, most of the crimes were committed in the winter, and men became victims whose criminal took values ​​and documents.

All crimes occurred in the territory of the Samara and Kuibyshevsky districts.

Based on the testimony of the detainee in the forest belt near the Volgar state farm, 5 people were found, which were missing. “Four of them have already been identified, the identity of the fifth is established,” said the UK.
