
President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev instructed Prime Minister Vladimir Putin to provide proposals for the abolition of the Federal Registration Service, the Federal Agency of Geodesy and Cartography and the Federal Agency of Cadastre Real Estate since October 1, 2008, the Kremlin press service reports.
In accordance with the Decree of the Head of State, the functions of the abolished services will be transferred to the Federal Agency for the Management of State Property, RIA Novosti said.
The first of these departments is engaged in state registration of real estate rights and transactions with it, controls the activities of non -profit organizations, notaries and advocates, and oversees the registry offices.
Roskartography controls the production of geodetic, astronomer-geodesic, gravimetric, topographic and engineering surveys, aerospace, cartographic and cadastral works, the creation of digital, electronic cards and geocinformation systems.
Rosnedvisiness is engaged in the maintenance of the state land cadastre, cadastral assessment of real estate, land monitoring, land management and territorial planning.
