In Lebanon, the battles between government forces and groups continue: one dead, six wounded

At least one person was killed and six were wounded on Monday in clashes between supporters of the opposition and the ruling power in the area of ​​the city of Tripoli located in the north of Lebanon, RIA Novosti reports with reference to local media.

Activists of the ruling coalition of the Al-Mustakbal movement, the report said, fired a residential building from a grenade launcher, which led to the victims.

On the eve of the battles between Al-Mustakbal activists and supporters of the Hizballah, the opposition broke out in the Lebanese Tripoli on Monday morning with renewed vigor.

Currently, the divisions of the Lebanese army, introduced into the city, are trying to take control of the situation. Earlier on Monday, the army’s intervention put an end to clashes between supporters and opponents of the ruling power in the area of ​​the city of Alei located east of Beirut. At least 12 people were killed there in the battles on the battles all night and 26 were injured.

In total, during the time that began on Wednesday, on May 7, riots in Lebanon, according to Lebanese medical sources, were killed by 47 people, about 190 were injured.
