The mongrel, playing the role of Mumu in the performance of the Small Drama Theater of St. Petersburg, is looking for the second day in the Northern Capital, RIA Novosti reports on Friday with reference to the statement of the theater press service.
The dog named Chamomile - a small red -haired mongrel with big black eyes - has been going on stage for ten years in the play based on Turgenev’s work, the agency’s interlocutor said. She had to go with the theater on tour to Cheboksary, but before leaving was lost.
“The day before yesterday, just before leaving on tour, the dog was frightened by the car on a walk and ran away from his mistress,” the theater employee said. According to him, it is impossible to replace the chamomile. “She is a full -fledged actress, and without her the performance cannot take place,” the agency’s interlocutor noted.
The performance planned for Saturday in Cheboksa has not yet been canceled - the theater hopes that there is still a chamomile. “If there is a dog during today, we will have time to take her to Cheboksary,” the theater employee said.
