ATP after the Communist Party will demand to cancel the results of the elections to the State Duma

The Union of Right Forces (ATP) , following the Communist Party of the Communist Party, will file a complaint to the Supreme Court of Russia on the recognition of elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation in December last year invalid.

“The decision on the submission of such a complaint was made by the Political Council of the ATP back in March, and we were ready for this for a long time for this, but we considered it appropriate to file this complaint with other parties and waited for the Communist Party of the Communist Party. But since the Communists decided to go on their own, and we ourselves submit this complaint,” the leader of the ATP Nikita Belykh said.

According to him, the complaint will be filed next week, and on what day - “this is a purely technical question,” Interfax reports. Belykh noted that he talked with the leader of the Communist Party of the Communist Party Gennady Zyuganov about "why the Communists suddenly decided to go to court." “He told me that there was no policy in this, but lawyers considered it necessary. True, this decision seems quite strange to us, because we believed that our complaints would complement each other,” the St. Petersburg resident leader noted.

Answering the question of what the ATP is going to motivate the need to cancel the election results, he said that "this is not a greater extent about the falsification of the results, but that the ATP, in fact, was not allowed to conduct an election campaign." “Everyone knows the detentions of our activists, the arrests of campaign materials, refusals to post videos and so on, so on, so on. The base is enough,” the Belykh emphasized.

In turn, the lawyer of the ATP Vadim Prokhorov said that initially it was about the fact that the complaint about the cancellation of the elections would be filed together from the ATP, the Communist Party and "Yabloko" .

However, the first deputy chairman of Yabloko, Sergei Ivanenko, said on Wednesday that his party was filing a lawsuit together with the ATP did not discuss and supported the complaint of the Communist Party, which the leader of the Moscow branch, deputy of the Moscow City Duma Sergey Mitrokhin, was to be signed from Yabloko.

The latter, at a request to clarify the situation, the latter said the following: "I did not sign a complaint from Yabloko, since the Communist Party refused to submit it together. As for the ATP, the proposal to file a complaint from them did not receive."

Representatives of Yabloko found it difficult to say whether it was possible that Yabloko would file a complaint about the cancellation of the election results, noting only that no decision was made on this occasion.
