In the UK, the police began arrests and interrogations of suspects passing in the case of pedophiles from the island of Jersey . The gang for decades raped and killed the boys in a local shelter.
The 45-year-old islander Michael Aubin became the first arrested in this high-profile case. Currently, he has already given a confession, AAP reports with reference to the representative of the Magistratian Court of St. Saint Heler.
Aubin was born on the island of Jersey in the La-Channel Strait, and recently lived in Southampton (Hampshire County).
The suspect confessed to sexual harassment against two boys of seven and thirteen years. The third victim of the pervert was the 8-year-old child, whom he raped.
Aubin Police arrested last Thursday, and already on Saturday he was charged. According to the police press secretary Jersey Luiza Nibbs, the arrested committed the aforementioned crimes between 1977 and 1980. However, the investigation continues and, perhaps, new charges will be charged to Aubin.
On June 30, the arrested will appear before court.
Meanwhile, the police of the island arrested two more alleged pedophiles, but in the investigation they are in no hurry to associate them with this high -profile business. So far, the detainees deny accusations of rape girls.
One turned out to be 76-year-old Gordon Claude Wotherid from the Kreudon district in the southern part of London, Icealing reports. He is suspected of three cases of sexual harassment to girls who occurred in 1969-1979.
The 68-year-old Claude Donelli from St. Brelede is accused of raping a 12-year-old girl, committed on Jersey between 1971 and 1974.
Under suspicion dozens of people
The forensics have been conducting intensive excavations on the territory of the former Haut de la Garenne shelter, located on the high hill of the picturesque island in the La-Channel Strait. The work in the town of St. Martin began in February and over the past time detectives found many human remains in the dungeon of the building, nicknamed the "House of Horror".
Improvalized dungeons were also discovered there, in which pedophiles kept and tortured their victims.
Charmed children's bones force forensics to suggest that at least one victim of the pedophiles killed right in the shelter, and the corpse was burned in the fireplace.
To date, forensics have already discovered 30 fragments of human bones, some of which indicate the violent causes of children's death.
In recent weeks, the list of suspects for this terrible crime has almost doubled and amounted to 70 people. The deputy police chief promised that they would all be interrogated, and most of them would be arrested.
Over a hundred victims
To date, about 160 certificates of victims of the crimes of pedophiles committed in the walls of the shelter have already been collected. The victims confirmed the assumptions that they were beaten and raped in the basement of the building. In the basements of the house, shackles were found, as well as traces of blood.
Now the investigative actions have moved to Australia, Thailand, Germany and the British Islands. Separate evidence of eyewitnesses fell into the press.
“Once in the dungeon I was forced to caress another boy,” admits Karl Danning, who fell into a shelter at the age of 5. According to him, one of his friends committed suicide after he was raped.
Peter Hannaford spent the first 12 years of his life in this "House of Horror". He says the pedophiles attacked the children suddenly. At any moment, even during sleep, the next victim could break their hands, and rape the next moment.
“We were in danger all the time. Every night we were afraid to go to bed,” adds Hannaford.
Local politician Stewart Sivrets claims that unkind rumors have long circulated around the shelter. According to him, many knew or guessed that the boys were subjected to the institution. Sivretes believes that local officials are involved in this case and covered crimes.
