The largest satirical magazine Titanic has turned the 74-year-old Austrian sex maniac Joseph Fritzl into a talisman of European football championship, the Sports television channel reports.
On the cover of the June issue, the publication publishes a portrait of a maniac, hobbing with his own daughter, in the cap of the Euro-2008 Trix talisman. Austrian flags are drawn on Fritzl's cheeks. The title for the portrait reads: "The highest measure for grandfather-monster: Fritzl will become the talisman of the European Championship."
The story with the maniac was not ignored by another satirical publication - Eulenspiegel (it was published back in the time of the GDR). The magazine was released with the cover depicting the German national team, led on the field with a ballak for a match with the Austrians. At the same time, the owners of the championship, led by Joseph Fritzl, crawl out of the basement - a hint that the maniac for many years kept the rayed daughter in the dungeon of his own house, hiding her from prying eyes. Part of the child’s head peeps out of the caricature basement.
The Austrian community is outraged by such a mockery of human tragedy and is sure that the criminal cannot be turned into a clown.
As Polit.ru previously reported, Austrian citizen Joseph Fritzl was arrested at the end of April 2008 on charges that he had held his daughter in the basement for 24 years and raped. During this time, the woman gave birth to 7 children, three of whom lived in the basement with her mother. The daughter of the Austrian Elizabeth Fritzl, who turned 42 this year, told the police that her father began to rape her from 11 years old. Now she with three children is in the amstetten psychiatric clinic.
