EXHIBITIONS

Timur Novikov. Founder of St. Petersburg neo-academicism, friend, ally and inspirer of Sergei Kuryokhin, Boris Grebenshchikov, Viktor Tsoi, Vladimir Solovyov, Sergei Bugaev-Afrika and many others; a man who set the vector for the development of artistic thought for several decades to come. The exhibition features more than 50 horizontal canvases and textile collages of the neo-academic period from the collection of Igor Markin, Ksenia Novikova and other private collectors - the very works that were a fundamentally new word in art, easily recognizable even without the word “Timur” at the top, and in As a result, Novikov was immortalized.
