A criminal case was instituted against TNK-BP

The Presnensky interdistrict prosecutor's office of Moscow revealed violations of labor legislation in the work of the Russian-British oil company TNK-BP. This was reported by RIA "Novosti" with reference to the prosecutor Yuri Basov.

According to the interlocutor of the agency, two insignificant violations were identified in the company. The first of them concerns the procedure for working with work books at the enterprise, the second is the provision of annual paid leave. According to the results of the audit, the head of the enterprise was ordered to eliminate violations, and an administrative case was opened against the company.

Earlier, the administrative case was instituted against TNK-BP Robert Dudley. He is suspected of violating labor legislation, because, according to the prosecutor's office, he paid Russian employees less than British.

The conflict in the company began due to disagreements of shareholders in late May. The Russian consortium demanded the resignation of Robert Dudley, claiming that he was managing the company in the interests of only one shareholder - the British BP. In turn, representatives of the BP said that the actions of the Russian side are "this is just a return to corporate raiding, which was widespread in Russia in the 1990s."

On Wednesday, representatives of the British side demanded that Dudli have the right to dismiss top managers without the approval of the board of directors.

On June 11, Dudley was summoned to the Presnensky interdistrict prosecutor's office, whose employees were also interested in the issue of compliance with labor legislation.
