
Airbus 319 Airbus Air Malta National Maltese airline, which has been a flight from the Moscow Domodedovo Airport to Luka Airport (near the capital of Malta - Valletta), made a forced landing in another Moscow airport "Vnukovo" half an hour after departure. None of the passengers and crew members were injured, the representative of the press service of Domodedovo said on Monday RIA Novosti on Monday.
"The flight KM561 Moscow -Malta flew out of Domodedovo today at 06:00. After 30 minutes, the plane made a forced landing in Vnukovo. Representatives of the Air Malta airline do not disclose the reasons for the incident," the agency’s interlocutor said.
He noted that all passengers were delivered to the hotel next to Vnukovo, they were given hot meals and drinks.
"Today, all passengers will be sent by another side to Malta from Domodedovo Airport. The backup plane has already flew to Moscow for them," the representative of the press service of the metropolitan airport said. He did not specify the number of passengers flying this flight.
However, the newspaper "View" cites the words of one of the Airbus 319 passengers, which reported that the aircraft made an emergency landing due to the chassis malfunction.
“We flew to Malta on a ticket. We hoped to be there 4 hours after departure. However, it turned out completely different. There was no specific reason for the incident. As a result, we sat at the Vnukovo Airport and are here from 7:00. They only answer us that the plane is being repaired, but we still do not know whether we will not know whether it will happen today or not. Later, they admitted that the plane sat down due to the breakdown of the chassis, ”the passenger of the flight Julia Angorets told the newspaper.
According to her, none of the 120 passengers in the liner was injured, and the landing was soft. By 11:00, the company has given people lunch. There are many children among passengers and so far they are forced to be in the terminal an indefinite period of time.
