In Pulkovo found a second mine in two weeks

Sapers have been traveling to the Pulkovo airport in St. Petersburg for the second time in two weeks: the second shell of the Great Patriotic War was already found on the flight field.

The builders found a shell of the Great Patriotic War during the repair work on the flight field of Pulkovo Airport in St. Petersburg last Monday evening, Interfax was told in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies in the city.

"Sapers and explosives were called to the place, they fenced the place of finds, after which they took out an 80 -mm mortar mine for further destruction," the agency’s interlocutor said.

This is the second similar find in the Pulkovo flight field over the past two weeks.

Last time, the time of the Council of Ministers was discovered on July 9 during the reconstruction of the runway No. 1. The ammunition was taken out of the airport and destroyed.
