Valentin Zorin -- 60 years on air

It is 60 years since Valentin Zorin - now a political commentator for the Voice of Russia - began his activities in the radio and television system. Valentin Sergeevich Zorin - Doctor of Historical Sciences, professor, Americanist. He is known as a political commentator, radio and television presenter, author of books published in many countries around the world, and creator of dozens of television films. Zorin began his professional career in 1948 at a foreign broadcasting station, which at one time was called “Moscow Radio”, now “Voice of Russia”.

The name Valentin Zorin has always been associated with big politics. All these years, international journalist Zorin has been a constant and active participant in this very policy as an exclusive interlocutor with top officials of the leading countries of the world. Zorin had the opportunity to interview country leaders and major political figures. Among them are the Kennedy brothers, Charles de Gaulle, Indira Gandhi, the “Iron Lady” Margaret Thatcher, Helmut Kohl, US Presidents Eisenhower, Nixon, Ford, Johnson, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton. Valentin Sergeevich is one of the founders of the Institute of the USA and Canada of the USSR Academy of Sciences. Among his students are Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences V. Zhurkin, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences A. Kokoshin.
