The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine calls power actions against the fleet of the Russian Federation in Crimea "extremely undesirable"

The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Yuri Lutsenko, called "extremely undesirable" power actions against the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Crimea. "The power actions against the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation in the Crimea, in particular, by the power of Russian sailors from Ukrainian hydrographic objects, are extremely undesirable," he said in an interview with the Kyiv weekly Mirror of the Week today.

Lutsenko, in particular, made a statement about the impending provocations in order to destabilize the situation in the Crimea. He emphasized that "he considers the politician who is pursued by the Presidential Secretariat and his leader Viktor Baloga in relation to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea."

According to the minister, a plan for destabilizing the situation on the peninsula, developed by a consultant to the presidential secretariat, "provides for the organization of provocations directed against the Black Sea Fleet." In his opinion, "the president’s secretariat pushes separatist forces in Crimea to subsequent unfriendly steps in relation to Kyiv."
