The head coach of Yaroslavl "Shinnik" Sergei Pavlov is resigning, RIA Novosti reports . He stated this on Sunday at a press conference after the match of the 24th round of the Russian football championship FC Moscow - Shinnik, in which the Yaroslavl club lost 1:2.

Speaking to reporters, Pavlov said that the reason for his departure was refereeing. “It’s impossible to work with such refereeing, for the second game in a row something unimaginable is happening, I’m ashamed in front of the guys and the fans,” the agency quotes the coach.

Let us remind you that in the match with FC Moscow, which took place on the field of the Moscow club, with the score 1:0 in favor of the hosts, the match referee Vladislav Bezborodov canceled the goal scored by Shinnik from an offside position. 10 minutes after this, Moscow doubled the lead, and Shinnik managed to score the only goal only at the very end of the game.

In the previous round, the referee canceled two goals from Shinnik against Spartak , as a result of which the Yaroslavl club also lost 1:2. “They simply haven’t allowed us to play a match,” Pavlov said at a press conference.

Let us note that Shinnik was left without a coach for the second time this season. On April 30, Sergei Yuran was fired from the coaching post of the club.

After 24 rounds of the Russian Championship, Shinnik has 15 points and ranks last in the standings.
