Actors of the Italian painting "Gomorrah", nominated for the Oscar and telling about the Neapolitan Mafia "Kamorra", were arrested on suspicion of involvement in the mafia clan in real life, The Guardian reports.

It is known that for filming in a film recognized as the most realistic story about the mafia of all time, director Mateo Garron invited a number of unprofessional actors from Naples, who, in his opinion, had to bring real Neapolitan flavor to the movie.

The director was appreciated by the Italian spectators, and critics, and the jury of the 61st Cannes festival, where the tape received the second most prize , the Grand Prix.

However, the reliability of the characters also alerted the Italian police, who had already arrested three actors of the film since the premiere. All of them are accused of aiding the mafia clan that controls waste disposal and shadow life on the Apennines.

In the film, which is a film adaptation of the bestseller of the Neapolitan writer Roberto Saviano, several stories with the heroes of different generations and different areas of activity, which are united by only one thing, are developing at the same time: all of them are subordinated to the interests of the criminal community.
