President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that during November, a number of high -ranking officials will be dismissed from the internal affairs bodies. In relation to two representatives of the prosecutor's offices, criminal cases will be instituted, Interfax reports.
On Thursday evening, Belarusian television announced: the deputy general of the prosecutor Nikolai Kupriyanov, the prosecutor of the Minsk Region Mikhail Snegir, the First Deputy Minister of the Interior, Alexander Schurko, Deputy Minister of the Interior, Viktor Filistovich, were released from their posts. Things are initiated against all of them.
"Today, the Prosecutor General to the outcome of the day to make an idea of the liberation of the Deputy Prosecutor General of Kupriyanov and the prosecutor of the Minsk region of the Bullfinch from their posts and institute criminal proceedings. As part of the criminal case, go through all the steps, including the moral plan," Lukashenko said earlier.
According to the Belarusian president, in May 2007, Mikhail Snegir acquired a 5-room apartment with an area of more than 20 square meters in the center of Minsk, with an underground garage. The cost of the apartment amounted to 156 million rubles (about 75 thousand dollars), and therefore the head of state became interested in where the prosecutor came from.
At the same time, Lukashenko emphasized that "the apartment was purchased by a bullfinch at a low price" - "its market value was over 500 thousand US dollars."
"In order to give the transaction the visibility of the rule of law, the bullfinch issued a false additional agreement to the contract of sale, where another apartment price was agreed - 535 million rubles (about 250 thousand dollars)," Lukashenko said.
According to Lukashenko, the apartment was acquired illegally - from a person "who at the time of purchase did not have the right to represent this company and was generally dismissed to reduce the staff." In addition, an employee of a commercial company lived in the apartment as a lease agreement, so the apartment could not be sold by a legal entity.
According to the president, the tenant appealed to the court of the Central District of Minsk to protect his interests. However, the judges, having coordinated their actions on the phone with the snow threshold, "decided to impose the penalty on the tenant of the apartment for supposedly unauthorized redevelopment."
The President said that the tenant "8 times applied to the Prosecutor General with a complaint about the illegal actions of the bullfinch." “No answer. Because all the documents were written off from the case of Deputy Prosecutor General Kupriyanov, who was on friendly relations with a snow threshold,” the president said.
Recall that the President of Belarus, like the two presidents of Russia, is actively fighting corruption in his country. Loud anti -corruption resignations took place in Minsk earlier.
So, in April, Lukashenko accused 15 senior government officials and his administration of corruption .
In July 2007, the president fired the head of the KGB Stepan Sukhorenko and his deputy for "the persecution of his own interests in the economy." Then, in cases of corruption, several KGB officers were arrested.
At the end of May 2007, on suspicion of committing corruption crimes , the head of the Belneftekhim State -Miner Alexander Borovsky was detained. He was accused of embezzlement and abuse of official position. In addition to him, a number of representatives of commercial structures were detained from whom large amounts of money and jewelry were seized.
