The incident occurred about 200 meters from the entrance to the US Embassy in Kabul. According to the head of the police of Mohammad Ayyub Salanga, all the victims are peaceful Afghans, who accidentally turned out to be at that moment near the terrorist car. The explosion was damaged by a bus and several cars.

The representative of the US Embassy Mark Str said that none of the Americans was injured at the time of the explosion. The representative of NATO troops in Afghanistan confirmed the fact of the attack, but did not give any details. It is worth noting that the terrorist attack occurred on the last day of the delegation of representatives of the UN Security Council in Kabul. The UN representative warned that in connection with this visit we should expect the attacks of the Taliban movement militants.

Recall that most often the victims of terrorist attacks, as, in fact, NATO shelling, are the civilians of Afghanistan, mostly women and children. A similar terrorist attack in the southern city of Kandahar took the lives of at least six civilians, about 40 more were injured. It is believed that the goal of the terrorists was to kill the brother of the President of Afghanistan.
