
Three people were killed and four were injured as a result of a fire in a cafe in the southeast of Moscow. About this, according to ITAR-TASS, said the head of the press service of the capital's department of the Ministry of Emergencies, Evgeny Bobylev.
Four more people before the firefighters arrived, fleeing the fire, jumped out of the window of the second floor. They received fractures of the legs, all the victims were taken to Moscow hospitals, ”he said.
A fire in a cafe on the street of young Leninites arose at about 18:30. The fire covered about 200 square meters of square on the second and first floors of the building. To date, the fire has been extinguished.
As Bobylev later said, despite traffic jams, the fire crews managed to meet the schedule time of arrival at the scene, or rather, seven minutes later. He noted that the fire report was received on the “01” remote control.
"The arriving crews saw black smoke bursting out of the burning building and a strong smoke. This suggests that too much time has passed since the fire to the call to the duty unit," Bobylev said.
