Bastrykin from the troubled Vladikavkaz: the mayor could be killed due to disagreements between the old and the new administration

The disagreements that could arise between the new and old administration of Vladikavkaz could cause the murder of the mayor of the capital of North Ossetia Vitaly Karaev. Such a version, as ITAR-TASS reports, was voiced by the head of the Investigative Committee under the prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, who held a meeting there.

In total, according to Bastrykin, the investigation is studying 4 versions of the murder of the mayor of the city, however, "first of all, a version of professional activity as a leader is being worked out." At the meeting, events were scheduled to be sent to investigate this version. "This is the study of relations in the authorities, relations with the previous authority of the city, the problems that could arise between the new and old administrations, all the economic decisions that were made by the new government," said the head of the SCP.

Bastrykin recalled that during the investigation of the main version the first detainees had already appeared. "Today, 5 suspects have already been detained, all of them are representatives of the criminal world of North Ossetia, they underwent active investigative work to develop their involvement in the crime," he said. According to Bastrykin, weapons and ammunition were seized from the detainees during searches. “But this does not mean that the final point in the investigation has been put,” the head of the UPP emphasized. “The main thing is the system of relations in the authorities: mayor with businessmen, public figures.”

According to Bastrykin, a version of the mayor’s personal relations with his environment has the right to exist.

In addition, the head of the UKP said that in the near future the case of the recent explosion of the "minibus" in Vladikavkaz would be disclosed.

“The investigation has very good prospects for disclosing the attack,” he said. “I am convinced that this crime will be disclosed in the near future, I have every reason for such a statement. I am satisfied with the number and quality of the events.” According to him, in the investigation of the criminal case on the fact of the explosion of the minibus in Vladikavkaz, a full cycle of forensic events was carried out.
