Experts of the analytical center of Perimetrix suggest that the incident occurred at the Starbucks headquarters in Seattle, since the theft statement was sent to the police department of this particular city.

All injured employees and partners will be provided with free credit monitoring from Equifax for a period of one year.

Most likely, the information on the missing laptop was not encrypted. At the same time, representatives of Starbucks argue that the company is already being implemented by solutions to encrypt data where it is necessary.
