According to the ex-president himself, he feels quite normally and in the near future prepares for discharge.
“Yes, they really had an operation in my eyes, now I am in the Central Design Bureau, but, according to doctors and by the way I feel myself, the restoration is going normally,” Gorbachev said on Thursday by phone Interfax . If everything will continue to go in such a good mode, then literally in a few days it will be discharged.
The former Soviet leader also said that, having recovered, this year he would try to go to Germany, where his granddaughter Ksenia, who recently gave birth to a daughter is located. “It so happened that while I saw the great -grandson only in the photograph that I was sent. According to ITAR-TASS, Gorbachev sent an appeal to the meeting participants, in which he expressed gratitude for the invitation and informed that the doctors forbade him to go on a trip. The 77-year-old ex-president himself was awarded the Nobel Prize of the World in 1990.
