The average price of one hotel room in July-September 2008 reached 259 euros per night, the international system of online booking hotels Hotels.com states. At the same time, accommodation in a two -star metropolitan hotel will often cost a tourist even more expensive than in three -star? 188 against 123 euros.
Hotels.com analyzed prices in the third quarter of 2008 68 thousand hotels of 12.5 thousand tourist destinations. As follows from the study, Moscow hotels are still the most expensive in the world. The average cost of one number in July-September amounted to 259 euros per night, increasing by almost 2%compared to the same period last year. In addition to Moscow, Russia is also represented by the 23rd place in St. Petersburg with an indicator of 122 euros per night (minus 18%).
In the whole world, the average cost of a hotel room in the third quarter decreased by 3%, comes to the conclusion of Hotels.com. The main fall falls on North and Latin America.
