
The Russian Communist Party held a protest in Moscow against the anti -crisis measures of the government, which demanded to stop the growth of unemployment and primary goods, the Secretary of the Moscow City Committee of the Communist Party, Yevgeny Dorovin, told RIA Novosti .
"The rally participants adopted a resolution condemning the government’s actions to exit the crisis and requiring it (government) of resignation," Dorovin said.
The protest was held at the monument to Karl Marx on Theater Square. According to the representative of the Moscow Central Internal Affairs Directorate, 35 people took part in the rally. At the same time, the Secretary of the MGK of the Communist Party of the Communist Party said that about 500 people gathered on the square.
"The application was submitted by 1.5 thousand, but this time the authorities severely cut the number of participants and gave permission to 300 people. But there were more at the rally - 500 people," Dorovin said, difficult to answer what the restriction on the number of participants in the action was related.
The protesters demanded to stop the increase in prices for the services of natural monopolies, for essential goods, to freeze the growth of housing and communal services tariffs and energy prices.
On Sunday, the Communists hold such promotions throughout Russia. “We will hold the next action at the end of January, if some emergency events do not force us to mobilize earlier,” the Communist Party member concluded.
